Not dissimilar from yoga, it is a dynamic exercise that anyone can practice to improve strength and flexibility.
Pilates is often recommended to those with limited flexibility, or who are recovering from injury/conditions which compromise movement - though it is paramount to inform me if you do have any medical conditions/physical injuries.
It can be practiced at any level, from basic movement from seated to difficult inversion mat work exercises.
